Leadership Across Generations

November 9, 2018 @ 12:00 am - 2:00 am

For anyone with the ambition to join the next generation of industry leaders, so much of the conversation — and even research — that drives our discussions about who is ready for leadership is about how to change ourselves externally to make a better impression: how we speak, how we dress, how we present ourselves, which projects we take on, how late we can be seen working in the office, and who we spend time with. However, presenting ourselves professionally is not a replacement for knowing our authentic leadership style and having the tools and practices that will work best with that style for managing our team and professional relationships.

In a talk that is both personal and poignant, Kadesh demonstrates some of the key methods for addressing differences in our internal leadership narratives across the generations and levels of seniority in the workplace, with the use of authentic leadership. Through her conversational style, Kadesh brings together research-driven and data-informed strategies that any audience member will find immediately useful in their own careers and professional relationships. Feeling stuck in the leadership journey? Get inspired with the tools and insight needed to find and move forward to your own beat.
