Description: Sustainability is a key component of any successful project. It is the continued, consistent implementation of effective prevention policies, strategies, and practices. Ideally, sustainability is a part of any planning process or program from the very beginning, adaptable to changes in funding, leadership and community structure. But how is sustainability achieved? During this training participants will be introduced to the many facets of sustainability including sustaining strategies, outcomes, partnerships, and coalition infrastructure. 
 
Learning Objectives: Participants completing this training will be able to:
1. Describe the elements of sustainability
2. Identify the steps of sustainability planning
3. Examine their projects using a sustainable lens
This webinar addresses the following MA DPH Coalition Criteria:
- Participation from key stakeholders (individuals and organizations that have a vested stake or interest in a program or policy initiative, e.g. it will impact them directly)
